If there's a way,
when this is all over will you please stay? He'd told me he didn't like home.
Had a-brother to inherit the throne.
Still I could tell right then from his tone.
He was going to stay with duty.
In the end, he chose family.
Of course he turned the question around.
But my answer was easily found.
To my band I was already bound.
There is no way I could leave these three.
So it seems, I chose family.
Perhaps my question wasn't that fair.
For merely weeks we'd been together.
But like him I've nare met another.
From a diff-rent world he came to be.
Yet knowing this, we chose family.
But really, he chose his family...
over me.

Five days,
Until I know
Which way
Life will go.
Whether good,
Or whether bad,
Depends on which
of us is asked.
1 is for the shock I'm in.
2... I'll make it through.
3. I am a wreck again.
4, A day away from news.
He's so excited and happy now,
Waiting, and wanting you.
Then again, there may be nothing there.
Who am I talking to?
He says whatever I want he wants,
But truth is in his eyes.
He talks of families we'd have
And how to compromise.
1 is for the fear I'm in.
2... I'll make it through.
3. Here comes the dread again.
4, A day away from news.
I am so scared and freaking out.
What is a girl to do?
To face down life's most toughest choice
Not what's a aspired to.
I feel so alone in my mistake.
Who knew we'd both survive!
I never did want this miracle.
Hope nothing is inside.
1 is for the shock I'm in.
2... I'll make it through.
3. I am a wreck again.
4, A day away from news.
1 is for the fear I'm in.
2... I'll make it through.
3. Here comes the dread again.
4, A day away from news.
Five days,
Until I know
Which way
Life will go.
And when that day is here at last,
Just tell me, Doctor, really fast,
Have all the odds been surpass-ed,
Or are my dreams all in the past...

Wow... I finally finished it. Faith's story is done. I'm not sure what to do with that fact.
The new stuff is the second half of Fin, the link to which is can be found
here.
Of course I have more to write. I'm thinking of adding chapters from other character's perspectives, to fill in on stuff Faith wasn't present for but would be good info for us readers. And I have to read back through the entire story and make any corrections I deem worthy or necessary.
But for now, the story is done. I'll be moving it to the "Full Text of Stories" list soon to signify that.
Please let me know what you think of the entire story! I really want to know. Good or Bad! Or even if you just think it's okay but nothing special. Please tell me! You can either leave me a comment by:
clicking here (You might then have to click on "Or Post Anonymously" just below the "Sign In" button)
or clicking on the link below that says "comments" and then clicking on "Post a Comment"
or by e-mailing me here.
And remember I want the same feedback on any story or poem on this site at any time from now to well into the future. Post a comment under any entry I make or email me.
Thanks!
Jennifer

"Happiness In Health" is now up for your enjoyment. This poem is just for fun, and was written in just a few minutes when the rhyme randomly popped into my head while in the car, so don't expect greatness. ;) But I think you'll think it's cute. The link is
here as well as up in the list of poems on the top right hand side of this site under the list of stories.
As always, please let me know what you think. I want feedback, even if it's negative. Either leave a message on the tag board on the top left side of this site, or
e-mail me.
Thanks! :)
