Stories To Be

Just a few things I don't want to forget before I get around to writing them:

-Addendum: as part of the chapters from other people's perspectives we learn that (luckily for Lord Carver) Cornelia and (luckily for Lady Carver) Jason favor their mother and therefore each other, Luke is almost a spitting image of his father, and Faith... looks like Lord Carver's sister who had been beloved by the people but who died long enough ago that most people don't remember what she looks like, if they even knew her, which was aided by Lord Carver having her picture removed from public view via an "accident" after Faith and Cornelia were born.

-Alternate Faith: the boy, who helped Faith get Jason to Doctor Limir after the attack the day he proposed, turns out to be Death. He shows up again, as the boy, with Jason and the Priest, helping the Priest carry stuff. As Faith dies, she recognizes him and wonders at his not having aged at all. He tells her why he helped her save Jason instead of taking Jason as had been the original plan as he pulls her away from her body. He explains to her who she is, or rather what her purpose is as she's a special soul, as he takes her to next body/life.

-Alternate Faith: "Carver Family Curse" has believed to have afflicted the family for three generations. That being that the first born daughter will die before she marries. Lord Carver's only sister, oldest aunt, and oldest great aunt all died before they married. As Cornelia's wedding approaches most people become very nervous and sad around her. Faith manages to get out of her cook friends the story of the curse, who tells the boys, and everyone plans and schemes for Cornelia's safety. The celebrating is great in the lands after her wedding, for in addition to the wedding all think the curse has been broken, by Faith's saving Cornelia from the attempted kidnapping. At least three people do not share the joy, and did not share the fear before the wedding: Mother Winterfields, Lord Carver, and Doctor Limir - the only three of those who know about Faith who also remember that Faith was born two weeks before Cornelia. At every turn Lord Carver is adamant about Faith not marrying Jason because he doesn't want Faith to die.

Well that didn't take long. See what happens when I get some time and a bit of motivation?

I started writing the Addendums to Faith Winterfields. They are those scenes Faith wasn't witness to but I think are interesting. Actually, I've only gotten one written so far, but I've outlined the others already.

Here's the first I've written, which is actually the fifth or so of six: Mothers

Wow... I finally finished it. Faith's story is done. I'm not sure what to do with that fact.

The new stuff is the second half of Fin, the link to which is can be found here.

Of course I have more to write. I'm thinking of adding chapters from other character's perspectives, to fill in on stuff Faith wasn't present for but would be good info for us readers. And I have to read back through the entire story and make any corrections I deem worthy or necessary.

But for now, the story is done. I'll be moving it to the "Full Text of Stories" list soon to signify that.

NOTICE: Faith has been moved around! The new stuff is Fin. What formerly was Fin is now Part 4. What was Part 4 is now Part III. What was Part III is now the second half of Continued. Got all that?

And still, I haven't finished the story. I know what the ending is, but I've been having a hard time getting there. This last time I sat down to try and write the ending just to get it down and then I'd go back and fill in getting to the ending, but I ended up writing all the in between parts instead! I'm happy with how things came out though. Hope you like it too. The new stuff is here as well as above under the link "Faith Winterfields Fin".

No no, still not finished yet. But I did finish up Faith's trip home. Again, in "Faith Winterfields Fin". Now all that's left (well, mostly) is to actually finish the story. Let's see how long it takes me to do so! Heh.

It's still not finished yet. I added the scene I promised in Part 4, it's a few paragraphs. I also have written half the trip Faith took back from Cornelia's new home to the Carver's, which is in "Faith Winterfields Fin".

The next part of Faith is finally up! :D It took me a long while on this story because I had some writer's block with it. And have again, so only the first half of Part 4 is up currently. But I had a few more thoughts on how to proceed, hopefully I'll get them written soon!
