**You begin to walk down the hall when off to the side you notice a crack. It looks as if the wall just recently split open and the opening is just large enough to fit through. Curious, you move over to the crack a peer into it. Beyond where the light from the hall reaches there is nothing but darkness. You are just about to turn to leave when you think you see a soft flash of light from far down into the crack. Satisfied that there might be something in there, you step into the crack in the wall.**
**The nearest entrance in the hall's wall is a set of stone double doors about ten feet tall. Engraved in one door, and filling the whole thing, is the image of a dragon whose open claw forms the handle as if reaching out to you. Engraved in the other door, but only about one foot tall, is an elf with wings. The handle on that door is formed by her outstretched arm, again as if reaching out to you. You grasp both handles, one in each hand, and pull to open the doors.**
**Across the way from the last door is an opening in the wall of the Hall, somewhat like the mouth of a cave.**
That one is actually somewhat humorous. At least I think so, though the ones involved might disagree. They really don't wish to remember that day, so it's story is here.
**Your interest is peeked, and a small smile creeps to your lips as you imagine what this tale might hold, and you step into the large hole in the wall.**
**Just down the hall a couple steps is a door. A normal wooden, human-sized door with a brass handle. In the center of the door is a circle with the outline of a dragon in it.**
The symbol of the Pendragons, **the voice explains.** The stories of Arthur are well known, but not those of his kin. This one helped and befriended so many dragons that her story has come here to live, while she tries to forget all that happened.
**Interested in what it was that happened, you grasp the handle and open the door to what appears to be a room of some sort.**
**You look down the hall and see light streaming out of a curved doorway large enough for a giant. Curious, you head for it. As you approach, you feel as if it is getting warmer in the hall. You pause before the archway, noting that it is much hotter and brighter inside. You try to prepare yourself for the heat you know you are going to have to endure, and enter the cavern.**
**As you continue to walk you hear a crunch from under your foot. You step back and see a dull green... something, on the ground. You bend over to pick it up, and notice a couple more. They are about the size of a child's palm. As you touch one you are overcome with a sense of sadness. You leave it where it lies and look ahead to see a short trail of them leading to a cave.
**At the foot of the dark cave, many of the green things lie. Some are dull with age, but one or two shine just a bit in the hall's soft light. You try to see into the cave, but can't peer into the darkness. As you take a step inside...**
