Storn Cook has been drawing all his life, but has some formal education in this field as well. He spent two frustrating years at New York University, where he did not fit into the Fine Arts program at all. Many years later, he attended the much more commercial minded Columbus College of Art & Design. Three and 1/2 years later he graduated with a degree in Applied Arts. "But CCAD was much more than a piece of paper," he says it really gave him the tools to pursue his career. He asks all young artists to please consider an art school. "It is very grueling experience, but if you are serious... you can learn so much."

Currently Storn Cook illustrates for dozens of clients, including several gaming companies such as the well known Hero Games, Guardians of Order, Steve Jackson Games, and Wizards of the Coast.
