New Look

 
So here's my blog's next look. My birthday's under two weeks away! (Hence the design)

I'm so happy at how flexible the new design is! And surprised and a bit proud of myself for it. Switching from one look to another will be as easy as I planned. But creating new looks won't be as constrained as I expected. Yay!

Trying Something

 
If you're a LJ user, or read this Blog via a site feed, things are changing slightly. Posts will no longer be shown in their entirety. This should work kinda like a LJ cut, where you get a link to go read the whole post. Only all my posts will be like this.

The point is to get people to come see the Blog's new and changing designs. I'm spending a lot of time on them, and really would like more than just Sara and myself to see them.

If you read this Blog at it's actual site, then you shouldn't notice a difference (other than the new design of course!).

IE is being a pain again, of course

 
You do like the new design? It's temporary, of course, since the holidays are over. But the basic design is going to stay the same. I plan (hope) to continually change the look to match the time of year. But in order to do so I have to make the images and figure out the colors for each change. So for now it's gonna stay as a present. Hey, my birthday is coming up, so it is still somewhat appropriate.

In the meantime, I spent MUCH more time today than I wanted to on this redesign. Stupid Internet Explorer being a huge pain. The last issue I have is the spacing at the top of the right column. But for now it's going to stay as is because I'm done fussing for today. I'll probably start on the stuff for the next change instead of trying to fix this up.
