I've been collecting my writings from years gone by as I find them. Each time I move - now 5 times in the last 3 years - I find more scraps, loose sheets, etc. with my thoughts from various times in my life. I've decided to copy as many of them as I can here to try and keep from losing them again, and to share with the world. Please feel free to comment as thoughts occur to you. Either send them to trekker9er@yahoo.com or use the comment links here. Thanks, and Enjoy!

May-ish 1996 - An Introduction for a special book we never wrote
I was getting my gifts for all of you organized, and I had just finished a note for Sara, when I began to cry. It didn't really hit me until that moment that we would no longer see each other every day (Unless Amy and I do become Vice-President and President of the U.S.). I don't know what I can say or do to change this harsh reality, but I do know we can soften the pain and sorrow by staying in touch. That's what this 4-years book is for, to help us remember that good time, and each other, so that we will want to stay in touch so much that we will.
