phosphofructokinase?!? Are you freakin’ kidding me? That is NOT a real thing!!!

Ugh, the trippy part of it is, I know enough now to be able to read that properly and figure out what the heck it actually means….

phospho – fructo – kin – ase

“ase” is an enzyme
“kin” means the enzyme causes a transfer of:
“phospho” which is short (barely) for a Phosphorus atom
“fructo” means a derivative of the sugar molecule fructose
