Spot The Station, Round 2

I was SO looking forward to Spot The Station last night. It’s been quite a while since the ISS has been visible over over Ann Arbor. I never managed to remember the last go around (when it was during my waking hours). So yesterday I put a reminder in my phone. The ISS was going to be up for 5 min and up to 86 degrees above the horizon: That’s almost the best set up for viewing we can get! But, as many of you know, it was still raining last night. Oh well.

Well today, tonight rather, the ISS was above Ann Arbor for 6 mins(!) up to 45 degrees. And then later tonight for 1 more minute. The sun came out today, blue skies and white puffy clouds and all! So I was very hopeful! But… grey clouds returned later today. And, right before ISS time I heard the far off low rumble of thunder. Minutes later the sky opened up and the downpour was so heavy I could hear it through the roof AND attic.

Oh well #2.

Gonna keep trying:
