2016 Summer Olympics – Finally

I’m finally starting to catch up on the Olympics. Even Amber’s seen more than me, because they are showing it at After Care at sports camp.

I already posted about Dipa, the first (female?) Indian gymnast. Here’s one about a story I love: true sportsmanship at the Olympics. “Get up. Get up. We’ve got to finish this together. It’s the Olympics.” Yes, ladies, it is, and you did it with grace.

And, OF COURSE, Bolt. Love watching him race.

But ALSO! Elaine Thompson! The new FloJo! You go girl!

Lastly, the only two things I got to see Live before NBC said my free 30 min feed time allotment was done (which included two commercials, several minutes of a “coverage ended” screen and a couple minutes of “coverage about to start”): women’s 100m hurdles – Awesome job Brianna Rollins! Congrats to all 3 US women. – and the last two men in the men’s javelin qualifiers.

So cool. I wish Dipa the best of luck in 2020! Get that medal!
