Sorry for this religious post, but I’m tired of seeing the other posts showing up in my news feed. This one is fairly close to my take on things.
Here’s my take: Let people die in peace. Let their families and friends grieve in peace. It’s what everyone’s been asking the WBC (Westboro Baptist Church) to do all these years. Why are you now not doing it for the WBC? “Do unto others as you would have done unto you,” doesn’t mean do to them as they have already done to you. It means: Lead by example. The WBC is not anyone else’s view of Christian, but that doesn’t mean we don’t act like Christians towards them. Or anyone else.
It’s hard to love everyone. It truly is. I get that. But that’s just one reason we’re not God. I’m not saying love him as he dies. Let God love, and as for us let’s at least not spread hate.
