Garage is officially cleaned out as of 1/2 hour ago. I went through everything (except one box I didn’t care to open). I swept the floor, a couple times, and little ledge. I even fixed the garage door opener (wiring came off). A few things made their way into the house. Most are out on the lawn, walk, and in the driveway.
Now to put everything I’m keeping back in. Break down / apart all the recycling and put it in the bins. And go to Home Depot and to organizer stuff I need to keep everything that goes back in the garage unusable by the mice as places to live / sleep / poop. I don’t have time to do it all before picking up Amber from daycare. Not sure what’s gonna give.
Everything I’m not keeping needs a new home, or the new home will be the garbage. I’m still debating holding a yard sale on Saturday. It’s just… so much time stuck out front of the house… and I have a 2 year old…. I’m gonna look into what charities will take what stuff. If I could get a consignment shop to contact me back that would be super useful too.
P.S. – I have bills, statements, receipts and tax returns dating back to 1999 (and some random ones from earlier). Much of these will be going into the recycling. At least pre-2006 will.
