Ashley? Heather? Lily? I thought my daughter’s name would be Amanda, but it’s not. I like Victoria too, but that’s not this baby either. I look at this picture of a tree on my wall that I made for Mom when I was in school, and I feel like the name is in there. But I can’t pull it out. (Maybe this means it’s a boy, I don’t… know).
Anyway, weigh in. When you look at this picture, what do you think is the name of the little girl who’s kissing the baby?
Olivia comes to mind, But I think you already know an Olivia? Anna? Ashley works, but it is rather common, at least here. You’re a classic, your baby will be too, so nothing more funky. If it’s a boy, I know you’re planning on going with your Brother and Dad’s name, but are you sure you are settled on that too?

Autumn or perhaps Leah…..Naming your child will be one of the most significant choices you make in life…it’s not always an easy decision……you will know when saying that name brings tears to your eyes in anticipation of the birth of your child. Good Luck!

Olivia came to my mind too. I don’t mind common names at all. I know two babies born this year with that name. But really it came to my head because I’ve been watching the Cosby Show, and the second little girl was named that :)
I’ve thought of Amelia, and like it, but… long story.
Autumn came to mind too. But, I don’t know. I’d like a nature name if I can find one.
But overall, I want a pretty sounding and “normal” name. Common is fine, as well as semi-common. Just so long as it’s been in the population before.
Try Nameberry, they have some great articles and lists. it took us until I was 8.5 months pregnant and we sat in bed on Christmas morning and just realized that a name we had considered very early on and then dismissed was THE ONE.
