Sunday, October 28, 2007Non-Earth Shattering RevelationsBut still powerful, to me.
- A constantly active life is not better than an empty life. - I don't feel like I'm heading in the right direction (still), but at least I'm moving. I couldn't take being stagnant anymore. - I am willing to settle now, simply so I can start a family without doing it alone. - There is but one flaw designed into humanity. And it's not compassion, it's not curiosity, it's none of those "I'm only human" excuses. It's our need to protect the young. Not only our own (personal) young, but all human children. A need so deeply ingrained we will willfully, even gladly, harm or kill any who either lack or have overcome this flaw of our species, because the rest of us simply can not understand not being this way and find it one of the most vile and heinous of crimes against nature. Any even knowing this, I still am held to it, proudly. Class, as busy as it makes me and as stressful as it can cause me to be, at least it's interesting. |
