Monday, February 19, 2007Soft FoodsWell, my second wisdom tooth will be surgically removed on Monday. It's a simple procedure, just cut some gum away, pull the tooth, stitch the gums back in place. The Oral Surgeon told me I will not be allowed (able?) to eat hard foods for a week afterwards, only soft foods like Mac & Cheese and Ice Cream. So I need to come up with a week's worth of "soft food" to buy before this occurrence. Here's what I've thought up so far. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Yogurt Macaroni and Cheese with tender noodles Cheese Ravioli Pudding Oatmeal Soup Canned Fruit (ie- no skins) Rice? I'm not sure if that would be considered a soft food or not. Also, I expect I'm going to get tired of Oatmeal for breakfast. And not being allowed to eat cereal, this will likely be a problem! Any suggestions on a good replacement? Comments

I don't think gingerbread & deli meats are particularly soft. As for breakfast, consider things like farina, cream of wheat, and different flavored oatmeals.

When you make Gingerbread as bread and not cookies, it's very soft. :) Thanks for the other ideas. What's farina? -Jennifer
