Am I Old Enough For This?

Months ago I saw an episode of "Sex in the City" and enjoyed it enough that I watched again the next day, and many days afterwards. I am definitely not a have-to-see-it viewer, and recently I've opted to specifically not watch it. I think I may have gotten my fill of it. But I remember thinking at the time, when did I get old enough to watch this show? (And not have it offend me or be doing stuff my mind just doesn't want to handle?)

Last night I had another such moment. I was watching "Mind of Mencia", which I discovered last month, and I have to say I find fairly funny. Or rather, I find his standup funny. (Half the special pre-recorded segments tend to be much more sex joke related and thus not to my liking. Though the other half are decent.) I also in general like the message he is trying to convey. I haven't figured out when "Mind of Mencia" comes on and on which channel to watch it regularly, so maybe I won't eventually get my fill of it like I did with "Sex in the City". But still, when did I get old enough to watch this show and enjoy his style of humor?
