Tuesday, February 14, 2006Happy ToDayOkay fine. I did a Valentine's design.Happy Singles' Awareness Day too! I don't have a Valentine, as it usual for me. Not much bothered by it though. V-day for me growing up was most celebrated by Mom giving me my favorite brand of those little candy hearts, and me being happy for them. I should go find myself some today.... Follow up on the whole date thing: We had fun just talking the first date. He had his car fixed up by then, and so picked me up. But the restaurant he wanted to take me to ended up being closed. Ah well. There were two other dates, though I already don't remember the details of the second. The third was an impromptu turning my outing to Harry Potter IV into a date, we made the movie by the skin of our teeth, but then hung out at the mall afterwards for dinner in the food court while watching children play in one of the play areas. Overall, it's been fun getting out, and he's considerate and nice to spend time with. But he's only 21 and just not the one I'm looking for. Not wanting to lead him on, I sat him down on Sunday and had a quick talk about us. It went a lot easier than I was fearing. He had noticed we weren't clicking half the time, and said he had been going to ask me where we were headed. Great! So it ended with it seeming like we're both satisfied to head down the friends road. In the meantime, I have a new Winter design in the works for my blog. I decided I've gotten tired of the blue design. It's nice enough, but I think too intense to be in use for too long. Hopefully the new winter design will be up tomorrow.
