I've been collecting my writings from years gone by as I find them. Each time I move - now 5 times in the last 3 years - I find more scraps, loose sheets, etc. with my thoughts from various times in my life. I've decided to copy as many of them as I can here to try and keep from losing them again, and to share with the world. Please feel free to comment as thoughts occur to you. Either send them to trekker9er@yahoo.com or use the comment links here. Thanks, and Enjoy!

So here's stuff from my profile on eHarmony:

Following are 3 Relationship Strengths from your Personality Profile: Jennifer is optimistic and tends to make others feel good about themselves.
Jennifer tends to enjoy life and share that enjoyment with others.
Jennifer is very respectful of the needs and wants of other people.

1. The four things your friends say about you: ?Caring
Intelligent
Loyal
Genuine

2. What are you most passionate about?Another hard one! Let's see: children, helping, friends, family, sci-fi, writing, sewing, roleplaying, programming?, Nature, etc....

3. What is the most important quality that you are looking for in another person?Honesty

4. What are three of your BEST life-skills? Making new friends
Communicating my innermost thoughts and feelings
Remaining calm yet resilient during a crisis

5. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?Wow, hard question. There's so many potentials! My brother, the teacher that encouraged my enthusiasm for learning, the shuttle Challenger's crew, my Nana, Star Trek, high school teachers, Mother Nature/Earth, my first boss, the ex-sister-of-my-heart. Yet I think I've managed to narrow the list down to two: Samantha and God.

6. What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?1. My Life
2. My Family
3. My Friends

7. Other than your appearance, what is the first thing that people notice about you?My attitude? I don't know!

8. What is the ONE thing that people DON'T notice about you right away that you WISH they WOULD?Um..., I think people notice everything I'd like them to. And if they don't, I likely make whatever it is a bit more obvious.

9. How do you typically spend your leisure time?Either out with friends, on the computer, watching tv, or doing whatever hobby of mine is currently my favorite (right now that's writing).

10. Describe the last book that you read and enjoyed. What was it about? What did you like most about it?"Farnham's Freehold". It's about a small group of people who took shelter in a home-made bomb shelter when the US got bombed during the Cold War and ended up thrown through time. VERY interesting character interaction, well writen, and a neat concept to think about.

11. Describe one thing about yourself that only your best friends know.I have a dual natured personality. They can either be called the Emotional side and the Logical side or the Personal side and the Work side. In Myers-Briggs types they test as NF and NT. My NF/Emotional side is my natural or default one. My NT/Logical side I can "turn on" as desired or needed, I also believe it's my natural defense mechanism.

12. Is there any additional information you would like your matches to know about you?I don't play relationship games and I mean what I say because I don't like having to figure out what others really mean or want when they say or do things. I always prefer people be honest with me even if it would mean my getting hurt. In my experience I'm an unusual mix of the Old Fashioned/Girl Next Door type and the Modern/Independant Woman type. My favorite flowers are Lilies.

13. What are five things that you "can't live without?"a. Music
b. Purpose
c. People
d. Food and Water?
e. Almost forgot! The internet
