Personal History:
Was born in Forest Mississippi. Her and her twin brother were top students in school. Her parents forbid them to have any contact with Starfleet. When she was 9 she fell in a river and almost drown, a Starfleet officer vacationing at a camp site jumped in and pulled her out. When she turned 18 she went and joined Starfleet against the wishes of her parents. She has not talked to her parents or her brother since then.


Academy:
When she joined Starfleet Academy her Major was Medical but she was not very good at the classes. One night during her second year there she and three of her friends borrowed a shuttlecraft. That's when she realized that she wanted to be a pilot. She switched her major to helm and her minor to medical. She was also trained in hand to hand combat.
